We first saw the beautiful scheme vases by Barcelona-based designer Sebastien Cordoleani for Moustache at the January edition of Maison & Objet and blogged about them here. Originally only made in luxurious carrara marble and Italian slate they were a little bit on the pricey side at €360 each. However this season the French brand introduced a more affordable and more colourful ceramic version. Available in four colourways, the new translation are almost 10 times cheaper than the originals at just €40 each.
A simple rock of Carrera marble or Italian slate serves as a vase for up to three stems in this minimalist design by Barcelona based designer Sebastien Cordoleani for French design brand Moustache. Resembling a mini Japanese garden, the Plan vases feature a delicate lipped edge that holds a thin pool of water. The stems are placed in three drilled holes in the nook of the tray, casting reflections in the water below.
